Duties
Several years 5+ of core software engineering/development experience.
Extensive programming experience in JAVA and .NET. C++ is a plus.
Must also know another language like: Ruby, Python, PERL, Lucene, or code agnostic OO development skills, etc.
Open Source Software experience using Apache, Hadoop, Hadoop DB, PostgresSQL, and Ruby on Rails.
Extensive experience with PostgreSQL.
Experience with implementing and designing ETL/Data warehouse solutions.
Enthusiasm for solving interesting problems.
XML (Data Extraction, Transformation, and Loading).
Experience with Unix/Linux or Windows environments, distributed systems, machine learning, information retrieval, network programming, and/or developing large software systems a plus.
Must have an entrepreneurial spirit.
